Nananom Group located in Canada has developed a prestigious enclave named Summerhill Estate located in East Legon hills, Accra-Ghana.The Estate has 54 luxurious apartment made up of two and three bed rooms. Nananom is moving into countries like Liberia to develop Real Estates.

Christiansborg Castle was built by the Swedes in 1652 and a stone Fort was built in 1661 for the King of Denmark. Over time it was sold and occupied by several nations including the Portuguese, the British and then by a chief from Akwamu.

The Special Court for Sierra Leone is a magnificent 3.4 million dollar courthouse sponsored by the UN. The award winning complex has a Detention Facility and offices to accommodate 320 staff. President Julius Maada Bio has promised to rehabilitate the now derelict building.

The Ghana Cocoa Board (Cocobod) office in Sunyani is shaped like the Cocoa pod. Cocobod fixes the buying price for cocoa in Ghana, the world's second largest producer of the commodity. The Building was designed in the early 80s.

Burkina Faso Architect Diebedo Francis Kéré in 2001 constructed a Primary School, in his village Gando with clay. The Project has received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2004 and the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture 2009.

Movenpick Hotel - Accra, Ghana was re-built by Saudi prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud. It was before that known as the Ambassador Hotel, which was a gift from the British to Ghana after Independence. It is an elegant edifice set in the Citys Business District.

Monuments des Martyrs, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, is one interesting edifice in West Africa. It is a beautiful futuristic tower of concrete and glass siting in a contrasting african grassland. It was built by Former President Thomas Sankara and financed by Muamar Ghadafi .
