#BREAKING: Dr Paul Farmer, a renowned American physician and co-founder of Partners in Health @PIH, has died aged 62. Farmer was a receipt of the National Order of Outstanding Friendship (Igihango), which he was conferred upon by President #Kagame in August 2019.
Material development and physical comfort alone don't relieve unhappiness, but if you’re relaxed and have peace of mind, whatever goes on around you won't upset you. It isn't the sophistication of the devices we own that brings us peace of mind, it's love and compassion.
Today, the world is interdependent as never before, which is why we need a keen sense of the oneness of all human beings. We have to take the whole of humanity into account. We have to understand what we have in common with everyone else.
