Whether #COVID19AB case numbers go up or down in the weeks ahead depends largely on what precautions we take over the next 10-14 days. The new cases we see today reflect behaviours 1-2 weeks ago. If we want to bring our numbers under control by early Aug. now is the time to act.

Lets all do our part! As of August 1, masks will be required on public transit and indoor public spaces. Lets work together to flatten the curve. We know Calgarians can do it!
Today, City Council took the necessary step to mandate the wearing of masks inside all public space as of August 1. This wasn’t an easy decision; when our Council meeting started on Monday, we were only going to be making this mandate on Transit.
