Expansion of the Cyclone Preparedness Programme (CPP) in Ramu, one of the most geographically complex areas, factoring vulnerability and risk factors. 👉 56 units across 6 unions 👉 1,120 volunteers Now, @BDRCS1 has commenced capacity development by training and equipping.

A giant has left us…😰 Lost for words… I can’t just fathom our loss because it is not only a loss for his family, friends and Bangladesh but also the world as he was one of the few climate scientist activists that got attention to the climate crisis using his influence.

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you about the passing away of our director, Prof. Saleemul Huq, on 29 October, 2023. His unmatched legacy will remain as a shining example for years and generations to come.

1/2 The BDT 20,000 (approx. 200 USD) cash grant completely changed Dulai Sarkar's life. He got to reopen and expand his flood affected grocery-store, and sales increased. @IFRC and Bangladesh Red Crescent's Integrated Flood Resilience Programme (IFRP) made this possible.
