Today , we are again using the 'drawing curves' , which originally belonged to the engineer, William Barrington , to complete stencilwork on our current project. These date to the 1850s/60s and have been used by our business for many generations.
We were delighted to talk to Joe Duffy on @rteliveline about the Le Fanu Festival, the family's connection to East Country Limerick and Sheridan Le Fanu's writings! Who was Sheridan Le Fanu? | Liveline - RTÉ Radio 1 rte.ie/radio/radio1/c…
Wishing everyone a suitably Irish Gothic Halloween from County Limerick 👻🎃. Great to see our local celebration of Sheridan Le Fanu and family make it to the papers @IrishTimes @FanuFestival
A brilliant third LeFanu Festival today. We learnt so much about women the arts and politics in 19th and early 20th century Ireland. The talks will be in YouTube soon. But for now thanks to all who spoke and who turned up. Guest of honour Nicola LeFanu bidding Abington goodbye.
Indeed and chapeau to @LimerickWild for leading on making those historical ties known! One of the lesser known ties is via the Le Fanu family whose ancestors were Huguenot refugees from France 🇫🇷 🇮🇪
Not every day that the announcement of a major investment by a French company in county Limerick makes reference to the historical ties between France and Limerick that we have been celebrating annually since 2019! Welcome to Limerick @NEOEN_Energy!
