I just collected my first 5 free face masks from a pharmacy here in Istanbul. Wearing a mask is obligatory in all shops & markets here, and their sale prohibited (likely to prevent people stockpiling). Instead, every resident gets 5 free masks every 10 days. Kudos Turkey 🇹🇷 👏

3/3 that 7k consultation was so painful to remove hata kama ilikuwa insurance!!! We ended up seeing another specialist at Aga Khan who looked over our baby. And prescribed breastfeeding as the cure!!! >40k spent,hours in waiting rooms for nothing 😥

2/3 he wants new tests after seeing the tests from Karen hospital. The same exact tests! Mind you they are from the day prior. At this point I refute since getting blood from an infant is just 😭 Dr just tells me to either do it or get stepping! He won't argue with me 😩

1/3 But these private consultant doctors are just as bad as private hospitals! Still on my <6 week old. We go see Dr Ngwatu at upper Hill medical (he is highly recommended) after we realise Karen hospital aren't helping us!

2/2 @karenhospital can't forget the drugs they prescribed that were totally unnecessary and we had to trash since we couldn't take them back! Even though they were all unopened and unused One doctor prescribes them. Then their resident specialist says we trash them the next day
1/2 This reminds me how we spent >25k on unnecessary tests @karenhospital on our less than 6 week old baby. (We had a really good insurance cover) Was a FTM so the doctors put the fear of God in me.
Entered this decade without a flat tummy, leaving it without a flat tummy because consistency is important.
