Veterans Day is a day to honor the brave Americans who fought for the values America just decided weren't all that worth fighting for.
When we get through this we need to address the electoral college. This election should never have been close and it only is because of this archaic and anti-democratic system.
In an ideal scenario the President of the United States and the worst person in the world would be two different people.
“If we don’t elect Donald Trump, we will lose democracy in this country.” It’s really hard to express my contempt for the sort of monster who would immigrate to a country, use it to become the richest man, and then weaponize his wealth to bite off the hand that fed him.
Sometimes I think Republicans must laugh like crazy in private about Democrats tolerating the electoral college, which means they win the popular vote by a mile but still have a scrum over who wins the election. It's time for us to change that & have a fair system
Please understand that this platform is about to become the very least reliable source of information in the aggregate if Trump starts losing tomorrow. Coup Two requires people to feel "robbed" and Musk is going to go into overdrive making the MAGAs feel that.
They are firebombing ballot drop boxes, electioneering and yelling at polling locations, stealing ballots from testing sites, while pulling a machete on Harris voters, and Trump is screaming and yelling that Democrats are cheating. This is MAGA.
Imagine being more afraid that your child is going to receive gender affirming surgery while at school, but not remotely afraid that they could get shot at school. A large portion of this country does not live in reality.
Trump is not trying to win an election, he is trying to start a war to nullify the election results and avoid prison.
The strategy is familiar and predictable by now. A pile of outrageous statements - all to ensure we spend the next days talking about him, not about you and not about how Kamala Harris will make life more affordable and restore the right to choose that he took away. It’s bait.
