Met another teacher who’s buying books for her classroom at Goodwill. It makes me so angry. Why are teachers & librarians thrift shopping for books in 2019? Terrible educational system that relies on educators buying books for kids with their own funds! #bookaccessforall

I would love parents to stop boasting about their kids reading. So many parents tell me how their kids are reading such LONG books or and how fast, and how young. Then kids go and boast to each other. It's not a race. Give kids access to books, smile, and get out of the way.

Students participated in a wax museum project in library today. They were instructed to research a 20th century American and act as if they are a wax model of that person. Other students came by to press a button which animates them. Great job Mrs. Gizzarelli @EGESlibrary
