#Israel did not cause every pager in #Lebanon and Syria to explode. The pagers that exploded were Hezbollah-owned, issued to Hezbollah terrorists for military communications. Military communications devices are as much a part of waging war as munitions. (1/3)
Things I’ll never understand: - $80k truck, $150k house - $5k car, $2k car stereo - $50k watch, $398 in the bank - Politicians being allowed to trade stocks - There’s a max age for pilots, but not for Presidents What don’t you get?

NATO has been a 75-year success story. There hasn’t been war in the region because of NATO. It is a massive mistake for Donald Trump to side with a thug like Putin over our allies and it will put troops in harm’s way.
If America goes down the road of abandoning Ukraine, future generations will condemn us for our shortsighted stupidity. If we unleash our country’s material might, we have the chance to save Ukraine and reverse Russia’s mad grasp at empire without American troops firing a shot —…

Kherson would have been a ruin, and tens of thousands would have died in the campaign, if Himars strikes on bridges hadn’t hamstrung Russian logistics and forced the Russians to withdraw without urban combat. The U.S. literally saving civilian lives with weapons deliveries.
Likelihood isn’t the issue. Any number of factors could tip events in multiple directions, including within the Kremlin. Maybe the better point here is that every rich bro isn’t required to issue a reductive and uninformed opinion about foreign policy.

Gas is over $5 a gallon right now. The last time a barrel of crude oil cost this much was in July 2014. At that point a gallon of gas only cost about $3.54. Let’s be clear: Oil companies don’t need to be charging this much for gas. They’re just doing it to make excess profits.
