Bears get back in the win column with an 11-0 win over Vincennes Lincoln. Xavier Monroe struck out 7 and gave up 2 hits while facing the minimum in 5 innings. Bears get 14 hits with Austin Ogelsby and Noah Richie leading the way with 3 each. Bears now 11-3 and 3-1 in SIAC.
Post 265 lost 7-6 to Gallatin Post 17 to end the Independence Classic. Pate couldn’t hold on to a 6-2 lead in the final inning. Austin Ogelsby and Ayden Esarey each had 2 hits. Pate will be back in action at Owensboro on Tuesday and at Carmi on Wednesday.
Pate Post 265 wins the opener 10-5 over Spikes-Davidson. Carson Evans gets the win in relief, throwing 2 scoreless innings. Pate was lead by Bryce Frank with 3 hits, Noah Richie had 2 hits and 3 RBI’s and Austin Olgesby had 2 hits. Pate will be back in action Monday at Boonville
