I’m still buzzing after this great @waitsaction & @MyBCU conference and seeing the huge value that can be brought from women who’ve overcome their traumatic experiences to help others escape domestic abuse. I’m progressing on commitments made during the conference.

The secret of success is realising you simply can’t have a full time job/career, kids, elderly/sick family, friends, a clean beautiful house, a social life, balayage highlights and wrinkle free face, sleep 8 hours and go to the gym. It’s hilarious to think that’s what’s expected

75% of those surveyed have said they've received sex education at school, but 1/3 said that they didn't cover topics such as domestic abuse, healthy relationships and controlling behaviours. The curriculum must do better to educate our young people about abuse.
