Today I asked my students to walk out of the classroom to walk back in and do the things we agreed signified the beginning of class. I wasn’t mad; it wasn’t a punishment. I have expectations + we will practice them when we forget.
Many times, you can see things in people that they can’t see in themselves. Your kind words can be the seed that will cause them to blossom. Because you spoke faith, you encouraged, you lifted, they’ll step into levels they couldn’t get to on their own.

Students cannot be allowed to act however they want in classrooms. There must be accountability for actions. We are not preparing students for the workforce if they are allowed to be disrespectful in classrooms. This is also true at home. Parents must be parents.
