Althought I've only traded $NVAX so far, at some point I'll have to hold to wait for the results of their trials later this year. Until then, I'm harvesting the choppy water.
The way $NVAX bobs up and down, I'm a trader, not an investor. I bought at $100 and sold at $136. Watched it run up and down a little bit, bought at $169 and sold at $180. Finally, caught it down at $134 and sold at $153. Waiting for another move past $160 for my next sale.
Stocks like $AAPL can go up and up seemingly forever, but not a spec stock like $NVAX. Bouncing up and down with wild swings is to be expected - that's opportunity knocking. Never sell on Fake News; if there's a drop due to Fake News, buy instead.
Lots of $NVAX fun today. Bought Friday at 169.50, sold yesterday at 180, bought today at 153.96. This is NOT a buy-and-hold stock. It cratered $30 today because of fake news from Putin - that is not a stock you can count on long-term.
I'm in $RXT at 16.95. I like the dip from the IPO price, because it gives us a channel to start trading in. I'm never willing to chase skyrocketing IPOs. I'll sell around $20 unless it suddenly skyrockets, in which case I'll hold a few more days.
How long can you stand to hold $NVAX without taking profits?
When $AIM peaked at 3.14 I decided to sell, but by the time I could get the sell order in place it was back down to 2.95, which is where I sold, for a nifty 16% profit. This stock is superspec, so you cannot hold it long term - not if you're smary, anyways. Take the money and run
How high can $AIM go? There is no news driving this sudden spike, so the question is, will people take profits tomorrow?

What is a piece of old but seriously readable non-fiction? More recent than antiquity but before 1960. Must be as relevant (or more) to a topic than an equivalent book written now. Any ideas?
