Sadly yes we are. I have an autistic cousin who is very brilliant, but due to his "clinically diagnosed health crisis" a specific school did not accept him. Now his mom, pays for a private tutor who is trained to work with him, and he has improved so much when interacting.

I conducted an interview with a mother this morning so says that Saint Lucia is failing autistic children. Do you agree? Tell me in what way.

I am honored to receive such a prestigious award in a time where students are being exposed to an array of social and educational issues they would dare to think of. Student advocacy will be one of the many pillars, in which I strive to be the best person I can truly be.
