Thrilled to share our RAID'24 work. We figure out how to accelerate probabilistic password guessing models with Hashcat to fully leverage GPU acceleration. The speeds of PCFG and OMEN are increased by 31~104 times and 213~646 times, respectively. wangdingg.weebly.com/uploads/2/0/3/…

Very interesting work!

I am thrilled that our Breach Extraction Attack S&P'24 paper (eprint.iacr.org/2023/1848.pdf) is one of the three finalists for the Best Crypto Bug @PwnieAwards 2024 !!!!

Ideally all papers should publish their code. You can help realize this by applying to be an artifact reviewer at NDSS'25. You'll get to review artifacts of accepted papers. We especially encourage junior/senior PhD students & PostDocs to help. Apply here docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAI…

You are invited to submit nominations for the 2024 Caspar Bowden Award for Outstanding Research in Privacy Enhancing Technologies! Any paper that has appeared in any peer reviewed venue between April 1, 2022 and March 31, 2024 is eligible. 1/2

We hear you! If you are still in the process of polishing your paper, RAID’24 deadline has been extended to April 15th, 2024!

Great!

Security research is often criticized for the poor reproducibility, but with #ACSAC2024 we hope to contribute to changing that! This is the first time we explicitly solicit #Reproduction and #Replication papers and we encourage everyone to submit: acsac.org/2024/submissio…

This year at @ACSAC_Conf we are introducing a reproduction and replication track! We are looking for papers that not only replicate existing studies but also critically assess, clarify and extend their findings and limitations. Send us your papers!
