Almost all of our canola that we plant on our farm is for seed production, we need to have a minimum of 800 m of isolation. This is a commercial canola field where I could never get isolation and it’s at the end of flowering. Pod set looks pretty good so far
We found this guy in our yard this morning. It looks like he hit the grain bin and dislocated or broke a wing. He is now safe and being looked after at Alberta Birds of Prey in Coaldale. #notsowiseowl
