This week, we sought to progress our ‘Equitable Beef’ Bill which would protect farmers from selling their beef below cost price. Fianna Fáil supported it in opposition. Yesterday, they said they’d oppose it. We will continue to stand up for farmers. #aontú #nofarmersnofood

We are opposed

The next Dail could well pass a euthanasia law. This means every candidate in the coming election should be asked where they stand on this crucial issue. Many will not want to answer, but ask anyway. (My @TheSundayIndo column). independent.ie/opinion/david-…

I think Aontu will be a dark horse in this election. 3 to 5 seats is a realistic goal. 10 to 15 would be amazing. You need to remind people of your stance during covid. With the benefit of hindsight, it's universally thought of as the crazy times. You were the reasonable party.

I was working in a nursing home just before Covid hit. So many of those wonderfully kind residents died after developing covid. People who deserved the highest standard of care were neglected during this time. We need a full public inquiry now.

As we hurtle towards an election, remember, this government refused a full public inquiry into their Covid policy. Why, because they did not want public scrutiny of their disastrous decisions during Covid. Support Aontú's Bill for a full public Inquiry.

Today we learn about this tragic news. 'Drogheda Boy may have been killed over two years ago'. Yesterday I gave this speech in the Dáil. rte.ie/news/ireland/2…

The chaos is SF is shocking, but the government also have questions to answer as children go missing from State care every day.

The Finance Bill underpinning the Budget was introduced in the Dáil this week. It is laced with once off payments designed to buy people's votes. The government is hoping that the sugar rush of once off payments will make people forget the last 14 years of FG/FF Government.

Great letter here on where our money goes but no answers forthcoming from the spenders of said money When did our government stop being answerable to us?

Common sense all of a sudden. I wonder why?! 😂 Aontú have been calling for an audit of NGOs and charities for a long time now. Because we listen to the people and analyse issues using common sense. We will always stand for the ordinary person, common sense and accountability…

What a great speech by @Toibin1 on such an important topic. Child safety should be paramount, but the Minister for Children in this government doesn't seem to think so.

A stunning contribution by Peadar Tóibín on the hypocrisy of the government when it comes to child protection. The chaos is SF is shocking, but the government also have questions to answer as children go missing from State care every day.

The Hate Speech legislation is to be dropped. This was a censorship bill. It was designed to prevent citizens opposing government ideology. Aontú was the only party in the Dáil to fully oppose this legislation. It shows how effective Aontú has become. irishtimes.com/politics/2024/…
