Junior coach supremos Jake and Charlotte awarded the U15s Player of the Year to skipper Dan Rogers! When not starring for our senior sides, Dan led the runs (193) for the Chili Heat and took 10 wickets. He really matured as a captain, too.
517runs, 4 half-centuries, 61 fours, 5 sixes – but no wickets! The former skipper scored 236 more runs than any other 1st teamer this season at an average of 39.77. Batted Futch!🏏👏
Young Ollie Purchase took the gloves in half the 2nd XI games this season and claimed 8 victims🧤 He contributed some handy runs, too. Not bad considering he only just turned 15!
Zac Cardy was named our Chili Peppers player of the year!🌶️ Coach Kyle said Zac improved as both bowler and batter through the season and was a key part of the team. His growing confidence also saw him play a couple of games for the U15s! A well deserved award🏆
Another excellent season of development for Brad Hancock – now a mainstay of the 1st XI's bowling attack 🥇
Gilly handed the gloves to Mason Messenger for most of the season, and the youngster repaid him with 7 dismissals – including 3 stumpings! Plus a memorable top score of 43 in a match winning effort against North Bristol.👍
Mal Love came of age with bat and ball for the juniors this season, while also making 100+ runs across senior sides including a maiden half-century!
With 28 wickets (at 21.54), 274 runs and 10 catches, Dan was the obvious choice for Senior Club Player of the Year in his breakout season! 🏆
