A special day in Dorchester as ⁦@MayorWu⁩ and Fire Commissioner Paul Burke opened up a newly constructed Firehouse on historic Meetinghouse Hill. At the site they dedicated a memorial for the late Marie Conley a traffic supervisor who lost her life while saving a child.

August 29, 2007: We lost Firefighters Paul J. Cahill of Engine 30 and Warren J. Payne ,of Ladder25 on this day in 2007. They tragically died in the line of duty while battling a 4 Alarm fire at the Tai Ho restaurant in West Roxbury. #100ClubMass #RIP #LODD #Hero

Thank you Governor @maura_healey for signing our PFAS legislation into law today! This law will ban the sale or manufacture of fire gear containing PFAS chemicals beginning in 2027. MA will be the first state in the nation to ban these cancer causing chemicals from fire gear.

In 1976, I met David Mugar for the first time. He handed me a portable radio and sent me to the howitzers as liaison for the event. Pretty much my entire adult life, David was part of it. He was a special person who treated all with kindness and respect. One of a kind. Missed!!

Today was a special day for the Minehan family as Firefighters joined @MayorWu⁩ to dedicate a street sign in Honor of Lieutenant Stephen Minehan who gave the ultimate sacrifice 30 years ago in Charlestown. The sign is at Hallet-Davis & Milton St. Well Deserved, Never Forget
