Public service announcement: A unknown person within the last 1 to 2 days drove down Interstate 182 in Richland and Pasco and stole/cut the catalytic converter‘s out of three abandoned vehicles. Troopers will be on the lookout but just be aware if you have to leave your car.

A total of 36 collisions yesterday in our area. Majority in Kittitas Co (Snow/Slush) near Snoqualmie Pass AND Grant Co/Othello area. A few minor injuries overall. The biggest one was 8 vehicles on SR 26 JE of Othello due to the dust storm.
Consider adjusting your weekend travel plans. Visibility reduced to near zero is a possibility in our area. Also, high profile vehicles may have difficulty too. Keep checking the @wsdot apps or website.
