Good to see these proposals, particularly the focus on affordable homes. Building on brownfield land alone will not deliver enough homes to fix the housing crisis, so it’s right to consider how our approach to the green belt can better serve our country and our communities.
A smarter approach to the release of green belt land is essential to building the homes our country needs. Labour will prioritise the development of low-quality ‘grey belt’ sites and impose ‘golden rules’ to ensure it always meets local housing need. thetimes.co.uk/article/0fb2b9…

We're working with the Hampshire Cricket Board to develop free cricket sessions for young people living in areas of high deprivation and high rates of anti-social behaviour. There are now almost 20 sessions running each week, reaching 100s of young people every year. #Support
