Fun screenshot from tonight's "chaos monkey" test. Randomly add/remove blocks to test a memory leak fix. Have been working on a new voxel FPS since earlier this year #gamedev #indiegame #screenshotsaturday

Whatever new ultra intelligent auto complete Microsoft added to Visual Studio 2022 just doesn't work that well. It's always getting in the way of typing. VS2017 is still the peak Visual Studio experience I've had in terms of stability and speed.

I want to manipulate equations on screen better than on paper. Digitizing math script is so tiring, we usually just jump to automatic solvers after. But math is more than statements & solutions, it’s about the fun of *engaging* abstractions. Algebra needs new interfaces!🧃

Sometimes buggy code can result in beautiful things. Here's a video from the DIY smartwatch project that I'm working on that I took a while back. It was supposed to be a smooth gradient.

This changes everything. 🤯 With GPT-3, I built a Figma plugin to design for you. I call it "Designer"

Bluetooth low energy has an interesting abstraction for such a low level networking protocol: communication is done through a sort of "shared whiteboard" model, where the whiteboards are hosted on the peripheral device. This is in contrast to other packet based protocols.

You might have heard about the curse of dimensionality, but what about the blessing? In higher dimensional spaces local minima should be more rare because there are simply more directions to escape.
