Just watching Global evening news and saw 2 people walking on blocked off Memorial Drive. Most people walking on the sidewalk. Imagine that!
Stop the foolishness...open Memorial Drive. Roads are for cars. There is an ample pathway for pedestrians.
Wonder if Calgary City Council plans to evaluate the impact of reduced residential speed limits? They make certain assumptions about this radical change. Like all changes of this nature citizens should demand an impartial evaluation be completed in one year from now
Where is the evidence that reducing speed limits will reduce injuries and death in the City of Calgary? Looks like eco tinkering by some counsellors who may not be on council after next election. How about focusing on issues that matter
