As a senior software engineer, you should read these famous white papers from big tech companies (AWS, Google, Meta,..): ↓
Sick of Node truncating your objects when you log them? Check out `console.dir(obj, { depth: Infinity })`.

My daily math grind after work. No matter how tired I am, I always manage to do some math. Even if it's just one good exercise.
My bet: - Infrastructure level tooling in Rust (well defined problems / slow-moving targets / big perf ROI considering the scale of the ecosystem) - High-level tooling / applications in JS/TS (better dev velocity, fast enough, lower complexity, lower barrier for contribution…
overall, in the open-source world, my money's on JS and future adaptations that allow it to compile to native code. for certain specialised use cases, I think rust and similar languages can be perfect. ... but we don't need to 'rustify' js. roe.dev/ama #ama
Can I frame this?
People seem to be really confused about the "right way" to fetch data in React, specifically "fetch on render" vs "render as you fetch". I tried my best to diagram the difference
⚡️ What if you could incrementally adopt native views in React websites instead of starting from scratch? 🚀 Expo DOM Components make this possible! Watch: Migrating a @shadcn template to @Expo Router ↓
It's full of bugs even in node 22. Then deno and bun will happily shoot for bug-for-bug compatibility. I always suggest validation + parsing for improved correctness, but then validation could inadvertently have ReDoS, so requires fuzzing.
Hot take: 99% of webp hate could be addressed if they were auto converted to jpeg or png by your browser on save
✨ Build @nextjs, @tailwindcss & @shadcn websites with drag and drop. And yes, you can export the code. Link below.
