Met with Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Mikati and underscored U.S. support for the UN Interim Force in Lebanon and Lebanon’s political stability and humanitarian needs. A diplomatic resolution that implements UNSC 1701 is essential so displaced citizens can return home.

Met with Jordanian Foreign Minister @AymanHsafadi today to discuss the urgency of bringing the war in Gaza to an end. I thanked Jordan for its leadership in providing desperately needed, life-saving humanitarian aid to Gaza through the Jordan Corridor.

In his role as mediator, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister @MBA_AlThani_ has spared no effort to work to bring the hostages home. Today, we talked about how we can capitalize on this moment to end the conflict in Gaza and secure the release of all hostages.

While in Doha today, I announced more than $135 million in humanitarian assistance for Palestinians throughout the region. This new funding will assist WHO and UNICEF teams as they work to deliver life-saving humanitarian assistance in Gaza and where it is most needed.

In my meeting with Qatari Amir @TamimBinHamad, we discussed efforts to end the conflicts in Gaza and along the Blue Line. I thanked Qatar for its significant contributions to humanitarian efforts in Gaza and Lebanon and its essential role promoting regional peace.

While in Riyadh, I had the chance to meet with our dedicated @USAinKSA team. At a critical time for the region, their tireless work to advance our goals and press for diplomatic solutions has been essential.

In 2024 our @travelgov team broke passport processing records for the third year in a row, issuing 24.5 million passports. Processing times are down and more than 1 million Americans have now used our online passport renewal system to renew entirely online.
