A groan escaped in spite of herself. She took a step back as she plastered a smile on her face. "That's a sweet offer. But I really don't need another blind date set up."
"Bored. . . Bored of what, clearly again your luxurious life with silver spoons and bad attitude holds you back from being humble." His tone rose as his words spat like venom.
"I feel confident of my chances." It was clear she wasn't worried. Leaning in a bit, her tone lowered, she chuckled as she nodded, "Question is, why haven't you gotten bored by now? Really, Matthew. I expected better."
