It's ok to do so and I'm ok with it. Here's my viewpoints: total freedom, direct to consumer sales, plenty of cash, opportunity to grow as a creator, humane working schedule, making the naysayers butthurt. I can name quite a few people who'd LOVE a cover by you.
Finally got to read @shanedavisart Inglorious Rex 2 and it was a disappointment. The concept and "Rocky drama" are fine, the art is what I know as "DC solid", but the actual kaiju fights do not live up to the rest. The misprinted cover stock does not help either.
