Really well explained That's systematic discrimination.

**** Ireland and its Visa Laws **** Join family visa is D category visa and parents get stamp 0. Discrimination points 1 Only financial and physical dependant parents can apply( nonwhere else in world it happens) parents and children regardless of age can join each other

I’m a Children’s Emergency Specialist - see me in the Emergency Department if your child is having a seizure, is unrousable or has a deformed arm following an injury. But there are other Specialists as well, such as GPs & Pharmacists who can help with rashes, coughs & fevers

That's alarming

Well done @ClaireH_Scott - The science supports the logic that having our sickest on trolleys cheek by jowl in an ED is bad at all levels; for clinical outcomes and patient dignity. Must STOP. Problem is fixable with will and investment @AssocEmergMedIE @DonnellyStephen

The big issue is we create loads of initiatives who highlight how much workload they will divert from the ED. Usually from outside services. They then get their resources and only see a percentage of what they agreed to and we are left with the heavy hitting complex care.

Babar Ali Reposted

Over recent months the pressure on Ireland’s EDs has increased beyond levels that had been generally agreed as unsustainable, leading to extended waiting times and increased pressure on ED staff. Read the full press release at: bit.ly/3wN5epQ

Irony of the situation

How accommodating @ICGPnews is to its trainees. Offered a placement for 260km round-trip daily commute to my wife for the first year GP training. No regard to all the requests. Not an easy world for working women. It's 2022. @todowd @docmuzi @usm998 @TayyabaJK @BabarAliEM
