Sinn Féin supports all the recommendations from the Citizens Assembly and will reconstitute the Special Oireacthas Committee to allow it complete its work and see full implementation including ending the criminalising of addiction.

I was on CA and we voted to make this recommendation to the Oireachtas. And we recommended that both Cannabis and Cocaine be decriminalized, which is not the same as legalisation. Vulnerable addicts should not be criminals. Wind in yer neck and stop spreading misinformation.
