The name’s Bond... James Bond. This past Friday, BISC hosted their 3rd annual prom! The students had a wonderful time dancing and celebrating together.
The students participating in Bike Week have shown grit, determination, and motivation to develop their existing cycling skills. We saw a wide range of success stories from children graduating from training wheels to children experiencing cycling on the road for the first time.

Foundation 2 have had a fantastic time taking part in our very own Holi party! We assigned a meaning to each of the 4 colours that we used: Green: Happiness Red: Kindness Blue: Perseverance Yellow: Knowledge/New Learning Happy Holi and Happy Spring!

Yesterday, BISC was thrilled to welcome Andrea Lee to campus. Andrea, a curriculum specialist at the Juilliard School in K–12 Programs and Initiatives, ensures that the Juilliard-Nord Anglia Performing Arts programme is embedded within the music curriculum here at BISC.

For their Exit Point last week, Year 3 chose some important dates from Pre History that they learned about during their IPC topic, "Scavengers and Settlers". They then created an outdoor timeline where every step took them back in time 500 years. bit.ly/3CxaEWT
Y3 would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated to their valentine’s collection. Once all the donations were gathered we were able to send 3 huge bags full of shampoos, deodorants, body washes, toothpastes, game books & more to our friends at Carolina’s Rehab Center

Sweet Statistics! Learning some of the statistical tests in IB can be a little on the dry side. So what better way to sweeten up the process by using chocolate candies to test to see if the different color proportions actually match those advertised by the producer. Well done Y12

Today, Y1 to Y6 participated in a Mardi Gras parade! The expression "Laissez les bons temps rouler" is a Cajun French phrase. The saying is a calque of the English phrase "let the good times roll". Thank you to all the students and staff who helped cheer the parade on!
At the last meeting, students in the MIT club have been presenting their findings on extreme weather events in the form of practical models. They displayed the science behind waterspouts and tornadoes as part of their final project submissions.

This Valentine’s Day, two Year 13 students played philanthropist cupid in the name of their CAS project! They sold anonymous, or not, Valentines that they hand delivered to students and teachers while raising donations for ‘Block Love Charlotte.’

BISC students were sharing the love this Valentine's Day!

Following the start of the Lunar New Year, F2 have really enjoyed learning about Chinese Dragon and Lion dancing. They worked together to decorate Chinese Dragon and Lion heads, and then had a go themselves!

Year 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 joined children from Nord Anglia schools around the world on Global Campus to participate in a question and answer session with Lucy Meyer. Lucy Meyer is a truly inspirational athlete with cerebral palsy and has won 5 gold medals at the special Olympics.
