#Budget2024 detail emerging: £5m of levelling up funding, to be spent on cultural projects yet to be determined, in both Erewash and High Peak.
The budget says pension funds will have to declare how much of their investments are in UK companies. Derbyshire's public sector pension fund already reports it - it was 12% at the last count - although it's probably higher than that once private equity investments are included.

Plans for the former Cattle Market site in Derby are in danger of being scuppered by climate change. The Environment Agency says the proposed (huge) Jaguar Land Rover dealership could end up under two metres of flood water.
