My heart goes out to the families of the 15 who lost their lives in yesterday's tragic fire that destroyed or damaged over 10,000 shelters at a camp sheltering Rohingya refugees from Myanmar in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. 560 were injured and 400 are missing as of this morning.

Current situation in Myanmar is neither war zone nor battleground. It’s clearly a massacre, killing unarmed civilians intentionally by state sponsored terrorists. #RejectMilitaryCoup #WeNeedR2PInMyanmar #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar #SaveMyanmar

I strongly condemn the violence against peaceful civilian protestors by the military. I urge the military and all security forces in #Myanmar to immediately stop violence against civilians. We will discuss on Monday #FAC the latest events in Myanmar to take appropriate decisions

MAL & group: YOU WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!! 😡

It's as if the generals have declared war on the people of Myanmar: late night raids; mounting arrests; more rights stripped away; another Internet shutdown; military convoys entering communities. These are signs of desperation. Attention generals: You WILL be held accountable.

Security Council expresses deep concern over state of emergency imposed in Myanmar by the military and calls for immediate release of Aung San Suu Kyi and others who were detained arbitrarily. news.un.org/en/story/2021/…

It is absolutely unacceptable to reverse the results of the elections and the will of the people of Myanmar. I hope that democracy will be able to make progress again. Prisoners must be released & the constitutional order must be reestablished.

Quote of the Day, by @TiranaHassan The situation in #Myanmar requires an urgent response from the international community. trib.al/oQdHuWY

While the Military is abusing their power with dictatorship on our elected government neglecting the will of our people, we, the citizens, must stand for ourselves. #HearTheVoiceOfMyanmar #RespectOurVotes #SaveMyanmar
