At today’s Hidden High &Hammered drop-in session, Dr. Beth Sanborn showed us stash devices meant to conceal, vape devices & other paraphernalia & alcoholic items with deceptive advertising. Grateful for the opportunity to learn about these possible indicators of youth drug use.

🔈 The MCIU was one of five agencies across Pennsylvania who worked with the PA Network for Student Assistance Services to pilot a new K-12 SAP training that will provide both Act 48 and Act 45 credits for those attending sessions in the fall.👏 @mciu_oss

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is helpful for working with youth who present with emotional concerns. Today, the Beck Institute is at the MCIU training school counselors/school based mental health professionals on CBT interventions to support students! #MentalHealthAwareness
