An expression of surprise yet... familiarity grew over the blond. The other seemed quite excited over this, but it shouldn't be all that shocking. "What do you need me to do?" He'd better ask now before he was accidentally thrown out of the way.
Collected in moments were a culinary mindset and readied instincts, the only mental tools needed to achieve success. He really didn't see any issues, but he's one to appear gullible. Introductory plans swarmed his mind, their ingredients accounted for. He gatherered each one.
This would be... an interesting venture. The younger soon repeated and lifted himself up to follow behind. Hopefully no massive mess would be concocted. "Don't get too excited about, especially not before it's finished." A surpresssed laugh. Hopefully that didn't reach any ears.
Taking command, he pushed up off their floorboard seating and ambled in the direction of kitchen Yamanaka. His unfinished sculpture was left to dry. “Follow along. You will witness the true expertise of a chef, aha!” Hopefully, that is...
Another shrug managed off of him. "It isn't about that is it? It's supposed to be... symbolic, or something, you know?" "Right!" He'd nearly forgotten. "Good idea, we should probably start on that soon."
His vocals lowered. “It's adequate, Inojin. I've already said it before, you are very skilled. Why not make your creations impeccable?” Time's music fell shrill. They needed to prepare. “Let's use our next opportunity. You want a challenge. Let's make Tonkatsu.”
"Ne? Back support? Come on, it isn't that bad, is it?" The blond looked over the painting to ensure he hasn't made that bad of a mess before the other changed his position. "I don't need an advantage, just a challenge."
“Interesting. Then I have to say that it could be your lack of back support.” He declared, tucking his legs inwards to maintain a partly sophisticated posture. His eyes wandered towards Inojin. “This would give you an advantage, yes?”
Pale eyes lingered, as if waiting for said fingers to mess up the color. Not that he would lash out. He was far too calm for that. "Ne? Me? A cramp? No way. I'm not in that miserable of shape." Shrug.
Resembling a pen, his finger traced against each line, cautious of the ink placed around every outer border. “You're clearly skilled, but a steadier hand would work wonders on this animal. Were you suffering a cramp moments ago?”
"Someone more than me apparently. Ah well." He slid over the painting of a colored lion.
“We all get carried away at times. Let me see what you have.” His head inclined, granting view of the young painter's work.
The blond simply leaned back and gave a shrug. "I already figured that, I mean... I just didn't expect you to go on this long."
Without any physical or psychic exchange, he conducted his voice. “When we're done here, we should make dinner. No shirking our work.”
Decides not to encourage him further. Watches instead.
Awakens to his unfinished painting. Pops is dreary. But, he continues.
Figures as much. Really needs to not compete, lest the addiction worsen.
Darn. Puts a blanket over him. Before painting further of course.
