Conflict of interest is the name of the game. The odds are massively stacked against the home buyer - freehold, fleasehold or leasehold. Throw in recommended solicitors and finance brokers and the whole system is a crooks charter.
Consider any ‘conflict of interest’ when a CEO of one of the major house builders also sits on the board of the NHBC. And as the NHBC ‘self insure’ surely it’s within their own interest to reduce the amount of claims they payout on!
