After today’s news that the Trump admin arrested two judges, this story is worth revisiting: In 2018, a Massachusetts judge was arrested for helping an illegal immigrant slip out a side door to evade ICE. Trump brought charges. Biden took office — and dropped them.
In 2018, Newton, MA Judge Shelley Joseph was indicted for helping an illegal escape ICE by ordering ICE to stay outside the courtroom, then secretly letting the illegal out through the courthouse’s back door Fed charges were dropped, and she was allowed back on the bench in 2022
