The new tunnel boring machine designed by @boringcompany engineers can immediately start digging a tunnel anywhere with no prior site preparation (this is a really big deal)

Prufrock-3 undergoing final checks on “The Monster.” Once complete, Prufrock-3 will launch directly into the ground and start digging - zero civil site prep needed!

Baroness Fox delivers some hard truths about the treatment of the farmers after attending #FarmerProtest @Fox_Claire Will @RachelReevesMP listen & address farmers’ concerns? Millions support our farmers. Stand together

The low wattage on display here really is quite something. Zero grasp of the issues or arguments. Only capable of arguing against straw men. Supposed liberals blithely indifferent to state authoritarianism. What a shower.

"Many are seeking to create a persecution complex." @maitlis, @jonsopel, and @lewis_goodall explore a narrative pushed by the right that Britain is becoming a "police state," highlighted in the Allison Pearson police probe.

This really is quite remarkable from Britain's top prosecutor. NCHIs have been a matter of considerable controversy for a few years now. Does Parkinson not follow the news in his area of responsibility? And, whether he does or not, why isn't he embarrassed to admit that he…

Jim Murphy on #Newsnight smugly boasts he's never seen Jeremy Clarkson on TV, didn't know he has a farm & states Starmer's gov will be unperturbed by #FarmersProtests. Such detached/aloof even snobbish complacency, with not even a smidgen of empathy, that'll be Labour's downfall

🔥FARMERS LONDON - Jeremy Clarkson standing for farmers and warning there won’t be strikes … it will be a bit more ‘French’ than that! I hope Starmer is paying attention because the people have had enough!

It's bloody huge. Well done to working farmers who have travelled far & wide to be here. Cold & rain not a barrier. They work through far worse daily. Heroic . Starmer & Reeves have got a real problem here : #FarmersProtest

I'm going along to #FarmersProtest2024 in London tomorrow in solidarity. Useful background below about why farmers are up in arms all over Europe; these days almost as likely to see tractors on demos as ploughing fields!

The Guardian has already started their “far right” narrative and framing of the farmers protest tomorrow. A lot of people intend to go to show their support since the government are in the wrong. Reality will be nothing like this shameful propaganda.

There are around 24,450 schools in England. If we assume an average governing body size of 12 members, that's the schools system depending on the good will and freely-given time of around 290,000 volunteers. I think they get nowhere near the amount of consideration they should

If you think farmers are fighting for food you’re an idiot. Farmers are fighting for THEIR MONEY. Tell me what difference does it make to someone in an ambulance having an emergency just because it’s farmers protesting? They’re willing to withhold food to get their own way and…
