You see, moral erosion isn’t a grand conspiracy cooked up in smoky boardrooms with evil laughter in the background. It’s more like a slow leak. Companies don’t jump straight into bad behavior; they stumble into it. It’s not about what they actively do—it’s about what they let…
Our way of acknowledging the CA community this tax filing season. @refrens_app @theicai @mehulshahca
Founder Mode? Manager Mode? Even after all the navel gazing on X this weekend, I still don't have the faintest idea what either of these are. In my experience, after 25 years in Silicon Valley, there is first principles management and stupid management and I've seen founders…
how is one even supposed to interpret this? is this a line chart or an area chart? if it's an area chart, it makes absolutely no sense. if it's a line chart, I have no clue why it's been shaded! and like a good CEO post, the Y axis is conveniently not labelled :)
It’s a close one between Laddu and Gulab Jamun. But the real surprise today has been Kaju Katli sales. For context - Laddu was the winner amongst these three last year on Raksha Bandhan!
5yrs of registering @RefrensApp as company. While domain booking is considered as the day the idea is born, registering a company is like really committing to it. Here's to the next 50! @mj_mohit

The problem is even more acute since almost all skilled designers have a touchy-feely, making-things-pixel-polished, this-is-my-art-canvas, only-highest-quality orientation towards design Which just isn't suitable at early stages I joke that we need "capitalist designers"...
There is a painful shortage of Product Designers in the market. Met 3 early-stage founders this week who are all struggling to find a good founding designer. All 3 founders have incredible backgrounds, raised funds from Tier-1 investors and willing to make a generous offer if…
A tough pill to swallow is that almost all consumer service products do end up looking like this. 5 tabs, each built up of grids or rows of cards. A tougher pill to swallow is that it is likely the most optimal interface for such services and the target consumers.
Balmer made the world realise that developers are important
Super proud to roll-out another big product at @TheKenWeb — we're calling it Subscriber Highlights. Subscribers can now contextualise and enrich The Ken for other subscribers using highlights, inline comments, and sharing.
Exactly what @RefrensApp is building!
If you are wondering what to build, I would say build an accounting platform which can handle payments, compliances and reporting seamlessly. We have an elephant who is unable to dance and needs to be disrupted :)
Uncookied Chrome users appear to be monetizing about 30% worse than those with cookies. That seems bad, but it's far better than the 60% worse performance of Safari users. Considering that this is just the beginning we think this is a really positive result. 3/
Love it when our users acknowledge our team members' efforts. @RefrensApp
