When I went to law school, I knew a law degree would be helpful no matter what I chose to do in life. Never did I imagine that I would use my skills & training to "prove" my husband's innocence to federal prosecutors after @jeffbezos & @amazon tried to imprison him. A 🧵 /1

Would you be willing to speak to me about Jeff Bezos & Amazon using the FBI as a weapon against my family? I can show you emails and share recordings to clearly demonstrate. The war ended with doj vacating 4 pleas & returning $7M seized. You seem to care deeply about the issue.

If the FBI is turned into a political weapon for Donald Trump, it undermines our entire criminal system, not just the investigations of political adversaries and journalists. @marcelias and I discuss why @Kash_Patel is so dangerous for the rule of law.

It’s like Zuckerberg set the market for the market rate for “tech billionaire donation to Trump to try to say sorry for years of bad relations.” But at least these guys are kind of being open about their belief we live in an oligarchy.

Weird. I wonder why my top viewers are people who work for Amazon and AWS. Hi guys, I guess.

Make it make sense that Biden would exonerate a judge who took kickbacks to imprison kids but his DOJ won’t unseal docs used to seize all of our assets in an investigation revealed to be based on lies by Amazon (let alone hold Amazon accountable). The system is the crime.

Wow. I think Biden’s commuting the sentence of this disgraced Pa judge is a big mistake. I covered this in my Pa media days. He was one of 2 judges receiving $$ to sentence kids to lengthy sentences in a for-profit juvenile prison. He ruined a lot of kids’ lives. Good summary…

My health & my husband’s health continues to be severely impacted by @ajassy’s war on our family. Sure, the threat of prison ended after 4 years. But a trillion $ company continues to hunt us through the courts. Try just even breathing when that’s your reality. /1

They were okay lying to doj to try to put my husband in a cage, to take away his freedom. They were okay with my 4 daughters growing up without a daddy. This is all monstrous /6

If dozens of people had been okay taking pay to do this to your family - and they hadn’t stopped, and no one would stop them - how would you feel? Would you feel safe? Could you sleep? Could you experience joy with your children, growing up and slipping away? Could you build and…

And @JeffBezos bends the knee. After blasting Trump in a 100 pg lawsuit over a gov contract. After deplatforming Parler on J6. After donating $100M to Obama. After sending the FBI to investigate AMI & its ties to Trump. Bezos thinks we live in an oligarchy. Do we?

Amazon is planning to donate $1 million to President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration, a person familiar tells CNN, confirming WSJ. That news comes after Meta also donated $1 million to the inauguration fund.

The DOJ also made us promise not to sue them to get back the $ they seized. They kept 15 percent. DOJ closed the investigation with no charges of any kind. Civil forfeiture destroy lives.

There's a twist: Last week, the FBI said it would agree to a settlement. The government will give back $525,000. Carl & Amy will forfeit the rest. In their case, justice looks like losing hundreds of thousands of dollars. That is not justice. reason.com/2022/02/18/fbi…

We lost our home, now worth double the price we had to sell to have money to feed our kids.

I support the FAIR Act and am grateful to the senators I know and respect, Sens. @RandPaul & @CoryBooker, for their focus on this issue. I look forward to sharing my family’s story in more detail with them, Congress and all of you.

This is terrifying.

This has massive implications for privacy and civil liberties. If McDonald’s can be used as a hub for mass surveillance, what about other chains? Grocery stores? Gas stations? The infrastructure is already there.

AMA about @amazon & @ajassy's 4 year war to convince @DOJCrimDiv to seize our $ & charge my husband w/ a fake crime, which ended in 4 vacated pleas, the return of $7M seized, & a call from one of the men who pled saying he was threatened and told what to say. I'm an open book.

"They didn't freeze our bank accounts, they literally took the money," -@Amy_K_Nelson on Amazon's crusade to wrongly IMPRISON her husband...by colluding with the DOJ. "It was totally financially devastating." FULL INTERVIEW below

An interesting - perhaps unexpected - aspect of DOJ's 4 year investigation of my husband at @JeffBezos request is that the DOJ team Jeff brought in overlaps with the @realDonaldTrump & friends prosecution team. Great video from @OversightPR on this.

🚨Jack Smith Prosecutor Matthew Burke teamed up w/ Amazon to target an ex-employee. FBI Agent Josh Huckel was removed from the case for a violation and then promoted. This exclusive video is based on an original audio recording of a threatening phone call from DOJ.

You see the prosecutor named above. There is also Uzo Asonye, who worked on the @PaulManafort prosecution. There is also overlap with Jack Smith, as Jessica Aber was the deputy criminal chief & asset forfeiture chief who oversaw Amazon's investigation into my husband. Ms. Aber…

In my husband's case, Amazon's lawyer - former EDVA prosecutor Patrick Stokes - was *promised* that the DOJ had specifically selected two of its very best prosecutors for Amazon's important matter. Who gets the B team? The Epstein victims? The Nassar victims?

Prosecutors have a set of terrifying tools they can use to 'convince' you to plead guilty even if you're innocent. They include civil forfeiture, threatening to indict your spouse/family, raiding home, & more. Many innocents plead b/c of this - and many wrongly point the finger…
