Made a sight detour up Loudoun Hill on this mornings LSR, blowy and to think there was 6” of snow up there yesterday !
Short run with 1000m of elevation gain, tough conditions underfoot and a brutal wind chill. Perfect training if you ask me.

A smattering of trees to finish off the new channel. These will redistribute new gravel and help the river re-shape itself to match its flow/sediment regime. Next we wait and watch a few years as biology kicks-in and the final changes are made by river plants and wildlife 💧🌱🐟
