Palestinians are unsafe under Israeli rule, wherever they are. The UN and its members should start discussing the implications of the "responsibility to protect", as done in other cases of egregious human rights violations.
Yesterday @CanadaUN voted AGAINST a draft UN resolution affirming the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people over their natural resources & demanding that Israel as the occupying Power cease the exploitation or damage of those resources. It passed by 159-7.
This should be the top headline of every Western outlet. The UN report didn’t “accuse” Israel of genocide, its findings show genocide because that’s what it is. Reporting it otherwise is genocide denial.
