The best athletes in the world performing at their apex is what the Olympics is all about. And it’s exactly why Major League Baseball needs to do all it can to get baseball back into the 2028 Games and allow big leaguers to participate. The NBA showed the way. MLB must follow.
The USA men medalled in 4/5 distance events on the track at the Paris Olympics. The only one where they did not medal was the 800m, which featured the fastest Olympic 3rd placer in history and Bryce Hoppel ran an American record of 1:41.67. Crushed it.
Winning Olympic medals is hard. Even if you were favorite for 🥇and end up with🥈or🥉it was hard. Thats greatness. Maybe not greatest on the day, but that’s greatness!

Year 2 for the Grand Rapids Tri Hards in the super sprint triathlon relay! We slashed over 12 minutes from our time last year, going from 1:37:19 to 1:24:56! Overall, we placed 8th out of 19 teams, jumping up 3 places from last year. I love this team!

Tonight the River Bandit program reached the 1,000 win mark with a 10 to 7 win over Chillicothe Post 757. An absolutely amazing feat and a testament to the high school baseball talent and coaching in our corner of NW Ohio.
80 years ago today some of America’s best examples of bravery, patriotism, honor, and duty. Forever grateful for these men and their sacrifices. We can never forget this day.
